I don't know what the Celebrity culture is like in HK, but it seems that the actors/actresses/singers all have to lie about their love life. It's really sad. I'm positive that most of them are dating on/off amongst each other. How can you possible go around in life during your prime ages not dating?? I mean seriously, they can't all not be dating, you know.
In the US, it's fun to know who's dating who and what not. And I remember one of my Korean buddies telling me that they like their celebrities dating others. I mean, these people are in the entertainment biz, they might as well entertain me with their personal lives too. People are meant to gossip. Light gossip is fun. Drilling and mean spirited stuff is not.
For example, the current rumor of K. Cheng and N. Chow - Kevin is getting old... 37, he really should be starting a family. Otherwise... kids after 40 may not be a fun thing.... you might not be able to see your grandkids... =/
