Synopsis:
DESPITE having crossed paths in the past, neither Yun Xiang (Huo) nor Jingjing (Lin) gave each other much thought until the blind Jingjing falls victim to a snatch thief. Yun Xiang runs after the thief and manages to retrieve Jingjing's bag. Yun Xiang lends her his umbrella to replace her lost walking stick and they agree to meet again so that Jingjing can return his umbrella. A friendship is formed. Jingjing lost her parents and eyesight in an accident when she was young. In spite of that, she never once lost hope in life and on the contrary, faced it with much optimism. When Yun Xiang's mother died, he blamed his father for it, believing that it was the result of his father's affair with his assistant. Since then he resented his father and adopted an antagonistic outlook towards life. Soon, Yun Xiang and Jingjing begin to fall for one another. Life is beautiful for the lovebirds but not for long.
