Hero Online is a new MMORPG that just got in Open Beta. After Open Beta, there will be no character wipes. In this game, there are mounts (pets you can ride) as well as just normal pets that fight along with you. There are 2 different classes for each gender, sword and rod. Male swords use 1 handed swords, 2 handed swords and bows. Male rods use rods, spears and axes. Female swords us 1 handed swords, 2 handed swords or throwing swords. I'm not sure what female rods use. After you reach level 10, you can get a job. The jobs are Warrior, Physician, Hunter and Assassin. Warriors have the passive skill of more HP. Physicians are healers (never played one). Hunters can tame animals to become pets and mounts. (If you're not a hunter, you can always buy a pet.) And Assassins have higher accuracy and hit rate.
Gameplay Features
Hero Online has many special features, such as quests written by martial art novelists, with the storyline written by Kum Kan, realistic fighting skills, walking on water or flying over walls.
Many other skills are yet to be discovered. Another special feature is the reward system, which gives you money and exp when you log out, based on how many monsters you killed and how much money you gathered by monster drops that session. There is also a pet system that allows you to tame or purchase monsters to ride and fight with.

Characters
Hero Online has four characters that you can choose when creating your character. Though there is little customizability in the choice of characters, you have the option to choose your character's weapon.
The Ruthless Blade: His weapons are the sword and bow.
The Elegant Mystic: Her weapons are the spear, rod and gauntlet.
The Piercing Eyes: Her weapons are throwing knives and swords.
The Overseer of the Sky: His weapons are the spear, axe and rod.
Job Classes
Starting at level 1 Dan (equivalent to level 10 in most RPG's), players are allowed to start a job in first level. The skills that you will obtain will depend on the job you choose.
Physicians: Can be passive or offensive, by choosing to focus on either healing or battle skills.
Hunter: Tames monsters to be pets. Monsters can be traded.
Warrior: Uses skills that boost his/her attack or defense.
Assassin: Employs life drain and stealth skills to defeat opponents.
