Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are the 4th generation games. The games were earlier released in Japan this year and are supposed to release in America on April 22nd, 2007. Pokémon Diamond and Pearl had the most successful launch week of all games in the Pokémon series in Japan.

Diamond and Pearl are set in the region of Sinnoh. You start in Futaba Town. The starter Pokemon are Naetle, Hikozaru, and, Pochama. There are five different time periods: morning, day, afternoon, evening, and, night. You also get a new device called the Pokétch, it looks like a wristwatch. It's a time management system, a calculator, a method for monitoring Pokémon in the breeding center, a type chart, a radar, a map, an itemfinder, a counter, a wireless link up search, and a drawing pad. It can be obtained.

The legendary trio: Yuxie - Wisdom Lake, Agnome - Aspiration Lake, and, Emurit - Trust Lake.
