Many people really like to trash this actor because he has been the most popular actor in Japan for too many years and on too many magazine covers. But he earns my respect again in his latest movie Ichibun no Bushi. He could act.
His previous high ratings in his dramas may be because he was the idol for many young girls but he could act. Being a blind man and still be able to pull it through, even the male viewers have to say he's good.
Let's not be too harsh on this 34 year old.
