I think Ariel's acting is very sound, but I feel her looks don`t amount to what I idealized as Huang Rong. In fact, none of the HR's of the past have been what you would call intoxicating in beauty -- maybe more on the charming side than pretty. But Ariel doesn`t look quick-witted enough to be Huang Rong. No offense to all her fans.
Hu Ge was Guo Jing.... hmmm. The same applies to him. He doesn`t look his part. There's also the costume. However, he's been doing well with his past series. I wish he had been Yang Guo instead. He would have done a fine job. But Guo Jing? Ehh.......
Yuan Hong as Yang Kang. Oh, definitely. Such a versatile actor. His Yelu Xie in Shao Nian Yang Jia Jiang stole many hearts.
