i like this version the best cuz the acting was great and it followed the novel closely
anyone who likes the novel won't like the dicky cheung one where i didn't find the humour funny and wong jing really twisted the plot
the only decent one was the tony leung one but that was too decades ago so it's about time they made another one and huge budgets like this one promises none of those fake sceneries and reuse of people in battles like the jordan chan version
not to mention that huang xiao ming is extremely handsome (well not the scenes when he was tortured by jian ning
) and the wives aren't bad looking (shuang er in this one is sooooooooo cute
)
