I guess you can tell her that she's been doing it for so long and if she quits now she's definitely going to regret it later? Also, she's been doing it for so long that she might as well stick with it for a little longer?
I don't know, I have no idea how long your friends has been playing or how good she is or whatnot so I really don't know what to tell ya. I just recently quit my violin because my teacher sucks and is so annoying and taking orchestra at school is just a burden on my GPA.

wait, taking orchestra is a burden on your GPA? Is it really that hard? My friend has an over perfect average.. he said if he took a zero on the final exam, his grade would still be over perfect lol... So she has been playing as long as you can remember huh..? Ask her, why should she give up now? She has already come this far, there is no reason to quit now..

It lowers my GPA because an A in that class is a 4.0 but I take all honors where A's are 4.5's and H's are 5.0 so taking that class lowers my GPA when I can take AP Stat instead ya know?
Seriously, if your friend really wants to quit, I don't think saying anything will help change their mind since it's already set.

well i quit the violin because my schedule couldn't fit strings in and as well i wasn't really musically talented, so it didn't really seem like there was a point in continue playing well and w/ piano i just recently quit even though i've been playing for numerous years cuz like i said above, didn't seem like i'm improving, but u can still play the violin or piano or ur own time and for fun

it's her choice. no point in forcing her if she's not interested in it anymore.
