Sammi Relates Painful Experience in Shanghai

After shooting <Everlasting Regret> in Shanghai a few years ago, Sammi returns to hold her Show Mi Concert and performs in front of a 40,000 full house.

During her concert, Sammi admitted that on her flight to shanghai, she thought of many things including death. She related the death of a parent of both her good friends Andy Hui and Stephanie Che. She gave them both the best wishes and hope they will be able to return to work soon. Apart from talking about her dad, she also thank her boss, Peter Lam who especially flew to Shanghai to watch her concert.

Shooting <Everlasting Regret> was quite a painful experience for Sammi but she has learnt a lot from it and without going through this, there will not be the current Sammi. Then, Sammi went on to sing the themesong of <Everlasting Regret> while scenes from the movie was shown at the background. Sammi joked and said that she knew many people have not watched the movie and encouraged them to go out to get the DVD to watch it and if they don't understand her Chinese, they can refer to the subtitles.


After dancing and singing for more than 13 minutes during the medley part, Sammi requested to redo that part because of some technical problems. The reporter compliment her professionalism and noticed she did not struggle for air even after all that.
