Kiki Sheung Is Real Housewife Stockbroker

Kiki Sheung (商天娥), Angela Tong (湯盈盈), Michael Tse (謝天華), Joyce Tang (滕麗名) and Toby Leung (梁靖琪) were among the cast members of TVB new series Housewife Stockbroker <師奶股神> attending the costume fitting ceremony yesterday. During the event, the cast introduced their characters in a series that tells of some ordinary housewives making their fortunes on the stock markets.

Kiki was asked if she could name some stocks during the interviews and she said smartly that TVB's stock number was 511. She also revealed that she has supported TVB's shares for many years and has seen them increase in value by a lot. She added that she also has other stocks and has tended to have won from the markets over the years. Kiki said that she also has investments in property, but they are all abroad and her properties in China are in her parents' names.

Talking of investments brought back the memories for Angela of being defrauded by Miss Chinese International colleague and former friend Amy Chung (鍾慧儀). She recalled how she was tricked into investing in margin stocks and ended up having to repay over HK$200,000 when they lost out. As a result, Angela has not dared to invest in stocks any more and was thankful to her parents for bailing her out at the time. Now she only takes financial advice from her father, who sticks to the more stable and safe investments.

Michael offered a suggestion to invest in stock number 52620, which sounds like "I love Lok Yee Ling" [TVB executive Virginia Lok (樂易玲)]. When the reporters accused him of sucking up to the boss, he said that as Virginia is his manager, then of course he has to love her. When Michael saw Joyce, he immediately started joking about her recent gossip linking her to Derek Kok (郭政鴻), making her quite embarrassed as she continued to deny the rumours. Michael admitted that he does not know anything about the stock market, so he will be seeking tips from Kiki on what to invest in.
