Michelle Yim Steals 大契’s Husband 細契 Has a Young Lover HOG 2 Characters Chaotically Different Than HOG

“Heart of Greed” was a rating success in 2007. The characters such as 大細契 and 鮑鮑 have a lasting impression with the public. 2008’s HOG 2 is hoping to capitalize on HOG’s success. New actors/actresses are added to the original cast. This chaotically changes the characters from HOG. Yesterday HOG 2 had a costume fitting and details of the storyline was made public.

The new series’ lead villain is Michelle Yim, Susanna Kwan and Kate Tsui. Michelle’s good character, 「莉姨」, in HOG changes into the villain 「紅姨」. She would be the home wrecker and steal Louise Li’s husband. Susanna would be Louise’s blood sister in the series. She would be the stereotypical “gossip”. Her daughter Kate will follow Susanna’s lead and stir up trouble. The mother and daughter will fan the flames of disorders to create unrest.

The story background still revolves around a big family. “Joe ba” played by Ha Yu who runs the large bakery business. Louise will be his first wife and then ex-wife. Michelle is an illegal immigrant who was taken under Louise’s wing at the business. Louise will be forced out by Michelle. Ha Yu will have six children whose name will make up 「家、好、月、圓、慶、中、秋」. Linda Chung will be Michelle’s stepdaughter. In HOG, Bosco Wong was part of the family but in the sequel, he is kicked out of it. He plays a doctor and Raymond Lam’s love rival for Linda. Raymond becomes Ha Yu’s son. 李香琴 returned to TVB and plays Ha Yu’s mom. She will be the “West palace Empress” archetype. The 40 episode series will revolve under the family issues and ethics.

Moses Chan’s 「得得地」 character in HOG was honest and simple-minded. This character won the TV King place for Moses. This time, he would be a stock maverick who is surrounded by women. First there is 陳子菁, Kate and then Tavia Yeung. Another love line is Raymond, Linda and Bosco’s love triangle.

Fala Chan will be a person who is mute. She will be paired up with Dexter Young. Fala will rely on her body language for her role. Raymond plays a bigger role in HOG 2. He will be the “housekeeper boy”. He says there is more pressure. Tavia and Linda will be the adopted and step-daughter respectively. Linda says that breaking away from her character in HOG will be hard. She hopes for change. The new cast member Kate says her character will not appear until the middle portion of the series. Her character stirs up trouble. Bosco expresses that his role was cut. He is independent of the power struggles within the big family. He can still elaborate his character since he will be Raymond’s love rival for Linda.

The main storyline and love line will be Ha Yu, Louise, and Michelle. Besides that, it will be Susanna’s open-minded character that will have two younger love interests. They will be Lai Yiu Cheung and Louis Yuen. Susanna joked that even though she will be a troublemaker but she will be a lovable bad person. Louise character is the happy-go-lucky 「荷媽」. The second family branch laughs that she is 「肥№」. Will the new character have adages/dictums? Louise joked that her character likes gags but will an eloquent speaker. But the ability to create dictums will depend on the audiences’ reaction during the series broadcast.

lol wow soo confusing!! but sounds rely interesting! yay ray has a bigger role! love bosco and raymond!! can't wait to see this!!

wow...Michelle is evil in this!?! hmm..i can't wait to watch this and i want to se Sussana not evil =D want to see her act good hehe. =P

Susanna stirring up trouble again another one of those gossipy woman. But seeing Michelle as villain is gotta be interesting. Michelle did a good job as a villain in brink of law. I am sure she will give the audience a different feeling as a villain than susanna kwan did. There seems to be more trouble maker in this version than in part 1

this series sounds really interesting can't wait to watch it. Michelle is evil in this instead of Susanna =]
hope they rating was good as the first one.
