Additional Information About Gillian Chung + Cecilia Cheung Calls Police Investigating Erotic Photos

A lot of attention was focused on teen idols Edison Chan and Gillian Chung after their “dirty erotic nude photos” were made known. Yesterday, mature (+18 yrs. rating) pictures of Gillian have surfaced in forums. The consecutively ordered pictures depicted a person who looks like Edison in various sexual positions with Gillian. The newest batch contained four pictures with low resolution which appear to be taken from a video source. The pictures depicted the male orally pleasuring Gillian. The pictures found yesterday had the same background. In a short amount of time, there were over 100 downloads. That night around six o’clock, the reporter accessed the site but it was unavailable.

Edison and Gillian were manipulated into erotic pictures which have become widespread on the internet. Some media have also downloaded it (for front page headlines). EEG artiste management department sent out a solemn warning yesterday. The statement read: “We hope that the media would not publish the recent manipulated sexually indecent photos which contain our artiste Gillian Chung. Once found, our company would pursue legal action. Our company advises the media to protect the victimize artistes and do not publish said photos. Also, do not help advocate harmful practices to disrupt the public.”

EEG director of artistes’ management, Mani (霍汶希) accepted an interview and expressed that she would not comment on this issue because it has been handed over to the police and lawyer. Mani stressed that the company does not want to debate about this issue anymore because the event can only be cooled down with low-key treatments. She expressed that people who uploaded, transfer, and download the photos need to understand if their actions are legal or illegal. Those people need to be responsible for their own actions. There were reports that EEG held an emergency meeting to discuss the issue. Mani responded that the meeting was for executives to discuss with lawyers. Mani hopes that people would not make wild guesses. There were also reports that this event has lead to the entire cancellation of Gillian’s work. Mani said that did not happen. Gillian is still in Hong Kong and working like normal. Gillian was sick so that is why work was cancelled.

A lot of the media hounded Edison for comments on this issue. The company which manages him (紅館經理人公司) made a statement through their spokesperson, Miss Leung. She said: “We have notified police concerning this issue. It has been handed over to the police so we can not express our views on it. The company has made arrangements for Edison to leave Hong Kong due to Edison’s negative mood. This is a serious issue concerning pornography so the company has notified the artistes’ union!”

Also, there was a photo of Cecilia Cheung, scantly clad, posing on a bed. The bold and indecent poses were shocking.

Yesterday night, Cecilia Cheung made a formal statement through a law firm. The statement read: “Our firm was entrusted by Ms Cecilia Cheung. Recently, there is an indecent picture of a woman that resembles Ms Cheung circulating on the internet. Through our firm, Ms Cheung severely condemns the unlawful person’s action. Their unlawful action is devious, unethical, irresponsible and mischievous. It severely affects Ms Cheung’s image and reputation. Ms Cheung’s manager has notified the police about the issue. They are investigating the indecent picture’s origin. Any one who distributes, upload, or download the picture may have breached the law. Ms Cheung retains all rights to pursue legal action against the people who have distributed, upload or downloaded the pictures.”

There are a lot of speculations in forums. Some netizen question the authenticity of the photos. Some point out there will be more artistes involved than two female artistes. The photos will continuously to surface.

I saw the pics.Cecilia's pics look real but many think they are photoshoped. I need photoshop expert to prove

I read another news that mention Nic

I wonder how he knew that are fake without looking ?

but it's look really real,at first i believe is them
then i think back,no way that can't beeee

i'd believe they were fake without looking =T esp when your idol's image in your head is like all the way up there, why would they do such a thing?

I don't know why so many people saw pics already. I saw them cause my friend sent me a link of blog (my space)!!! they are distributed so fast
