Liza Wang's Golden Response to the latest scandal is widely supported

Recently, Ah Jie, Liza Wang, has been performing more charity work in Tin Sui Wai and continued to hand out gifts to the residents, touching the hearts of many. Liza heavily criticized the recent scandal when she was approached by reporters and urged the police to solve the matter as soon as possible. Liza said that she has not and will not look at the pictures and that she mostly visits her own website Lizawang.com whenever she goes online. She hopes that the public would not go all out to search for the pictures and pointed out that there's nothing special about another human's body as they are all the same.

Liza added, "The younger generation must not be too open-minded about such things and they should really choose their friends wisely." When asked if she is worried that her private pictures might be put on the internet, Liza said, "I have not and will not take such pictures, I do not have secrets, the pictures of me on the internet are clean. I feel that this is more of a personality issue. Integrity is really important. If you do not wish for others to see such it, then don't take such pictures in the first place!"

THAT is such a retarded statement from Liza. The pics weren't supposed to be stolen. UGH! These idiots! The problem isn't with the ppl in the pics or the ppl taking the pics...it's the STEALERS!!!!! OMG!!!! For the public's concern... the public wasn't supposed to see these things. Just like you all weren't supposed to see the movie of Pam Anderson & Tommy Lee... or Paris Hilton and her Ex.... These statements regarding the Edison pics should be directed at these companies who are supposed to hire professionals to do work.

This is by far NOT a "retarded statement from Liza." It is about time celebrities need to own up to their actions. However unfair it may be, celebrities are held at a different standard. When they choose to be in the spotlight, they subsequently also relinquish part of their privacy. Is this right, of course not but that is reality. Again, I keep saying that stardom is a privilege. As corny as it sounds, spiderman says it best - with great power comes great responsibility.

I am NOT a supporter of Assison Chan and all the actresses he took the sex photos with. They are all perpetrators of stupidity and deception. Ppl should continue saying that they shouldn't be taking sex photos. Celebs are highly paid individuals who abuse their power, AND these pics weren't meant for the public but were taken for private enjoyment meant for Edison and his jerkass friends!!! Get the big picture straight, these people are not VICTIMS and they have generated enormous amounts of skepticism within the HK entertainment industry for years to come.

I agree with Liza's statement. As celebrities, the ppl involved should know that they are public figures and that whatever they do or say may end up in someone's hands. So if they don't want others to see it, they shouldn't have taken the pics in the first place. They should be responsible for their own actions.

It takes two to have sex. It took two to take those photos.
EDC should have been more aware of the risks of keeping them on his laptop but the women who were in the pics should have known the risks of having their pics shown. I wouldn't take x-rated pics with a guy cause I wouldn't know who he may show them to.

HK people who want EDC arrested need to recognize that when it comes down to it, it was his and his women's biz to take the pics, nobody else He didn't commit a crime. Why so much hate?

What does he have to issue an apology for? He may owe it to the women involved but why does he owe it to the HK public? He never put up a "clean boy" image. He didn't deceive them to think he was a virgin.

Again I go back to the Carina rape pics.. how come the HK police didn't arrest the magazine for printing them? That in a way was helping the perpetrators. U will never see rape pics like that in the US. And yet we're stereotyped as being sexually immoral.

MonkEdong - I don't know how young you are, but that's not the point. You are correct in stating that celebrities shouldn't abuse their "priveleges;" however, we see a lot of that in the US with our own celebs. Though I don't agree that celebs must give up their privacy for your entertainment. With that said, they all know that their lives are now fully on camera/TV/news etc. And again, even though parts of their lives are devoted to your pleasures/curiosities... they should be allowed to have a life outside of being famous. So what they date each other... so what they drink & do drugs... so what that they have sex... and so what that they take pics. I'm positive that people around you do so all the time. And No, those ppl around you (friends, neighbors, family etc.) don't HAVE to tell you what they do behind closed doors. However, if you enjoy poking your head into their business, then I have nothing to say. My only opinion is that everyone has a job, but each one is different. Unfortunately for the celebs (who's job is to act/model/sing), a big portion of their lives are publicized.

As for stirring up the HK entertainment - thank the lord. Finally, this culture can be relieved of their naiveness!!! Oh ya, the definition of victim has many meanings. In this case, it means "an unfortunate person who suffers from some adverse circumstance" i.e. theft.

I for one think everyone should just drop this whole sex scandal. Its kinda sad that the biggest concern in China is about the sex scandal. What the celebs do in their private life, is their own life.
