Dark chocolate may help blood pressure?
"Eating 30 Calories Per Day of Dark Chocolate May Lower High Blood Pressure."
..might as well start eating 'em! lol..
here's a portion of the article:
July 3, 2007 -- The health benefits of dark chocolate may include lowering high blood pressure, German researchers report.
But overindulging in dark chocolate might blow your calorie budget, and packing on pounds could raise blood pressure. So portion control may help you have your dark chocolate and reap its health benefits, the new study suggests.
Small amounts of dark chocolate "efficiently reduced blood pressure," report the researchers, who included Dirk Taubert, MD, PhD, of Germany's University Hospital of Cologne.
How small is a small amount of dark chocolate? Participants in Taubert's study were limited to 30 calories per day of dark chocolate. That's roughly the number of calories in a Hershey's Kiss....

Yup I did a project on this once on dark chocolate and wine for my health class. Dark chocolate does help the heart, lower blood pressure, and there's more to it, but can't recall XD However it has to be dark chocolate, not ordinary chocolate lol

Yup I have heard about the benefits of eating dark chocolate!
So maybe we should all opt for dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate. I personally prefer the dark chocolate as there is a tinge of bitterness to it which I like ^^

problem with these reports is that today its good for you. next year after another report, it may be bad for you. look at coffee. its good for you, its bad for you, on an on. so called experts can;t make up their minds.
i eat dark chocolate bec i think they taste better. more chocolately if that's possible
