How often do you change your oil?

How often do you have your engine's oil & filter changed? I will say for conventional is around 3,000 miles, don't know in KM.

3,000 miles is about 5,000km.
How often you need to change your oil actually depends on time, distance, general traffic condition and what type of oil is currently in your car rather than just a single factor.

But of course changing more often does no harm other than burning a bigger hole in your pocket.

Never hurts to change more often but with Synthetic I do about 5000-6000 and with dino oil I usually do about 3000 km. It all depends like they said how you drive and stuff. Rule of thumb, check your oil, if its dirty change it regardless of how many km you drove.

I don't change my oil. I take it to the dealership. They probably do a better job than me. I guess I change it every 5,000 miles. That's what they tell me.

according to the book, my car needs oil change every 6 months or 8,000 km, but the dealer recommend I should change it more often, I don't drive that much, around 12,000 km per year, but I do the oil change every 4 months, not as many times as the dealer suggest but more often than the booklet coming with the car.l

i do mine every 3k miles. i race quite often tho

I'm kind've lazy so I do a service every 10,000 k and change the oil then..
