I saw this car before in Top Gears. I think there are only 6 units in the world and not for sale...Correct me if I'm wrong...They're not producing this for sale, just to try the engineers limit.

This car can go 200+MPH and at top speed will eat up the full tank of petrol in 15mins. And yes this is a very rare car.

if i'm not mistaken, this is the 1000 horse power car. i read an article on it a year ago which kind of confirms what fongpn said...
basically, the car should cost somewhere around 3-4 mil, but they're only selling for 1 mil coz they r not making it for profit

This is the ultimate car in terms of development and over the top power. It makes a loss for each vehicle sold simply because the cars purpose was to show off the technology of Volks wagon. The car has a Quad turbo W16 engine. Thats similar to to putting to V8 engines together and running 2 turbos on each engine. In the dash there is a meter that displays how much horse power is being used in the manner of how our RPM meters work. The car can do 0-100 in about 2.3 seconds, yes thats on the level of a full race spec Formula 1 car. As for the top speed, many have used its record 405kmph speed to try and argue that this car is faster than a formula one car. However I dont agree with this notion as formula 1 cars have a lot of downforce which restricts top speed to allow for better cornering speeds up to 5G's. The car has 10 radiators to cool all the hydrolics that run the car. To be able to reach 405kmph, not only do you need a long stretch of road, but you actually need to stop, turn off the car open the door, put the key in a special slot that turns on maximum speed mode which turns off the automatic spoiler. Also this thing drinks petrol like nothing else.

I saw this car on Top Gear, as people above have said, it drinks petrol like there's no tomorrow, I think Jeremy said it'll go through a 180 litre tank in 12 minutes when being run at maximum speed....
Really, the only places you could conceivably drive it would be in Europe, on the autostrada or the German autobahn.... But I'd love to try  |
