What's the coolest thing you've seen on Google Earth?
I love looking at the awesome suburbs of California, and the houses that people live in on the beaches. I've seen my house out in the boondocks. I've seen houses in Florida and New York, I feel like I've traveled there when I see them. It's amazing to see palm trees. I've even seen a resort in California, with palm trees, tennis courts, swimming pools, and a baseball diamond. I sort of plan out where I want to live when I'm older.
Then I go to places like the ghetto and realize how crappy they can be. One of the most amazing things is to SEE how many houses and places are packed into an area! It's amazing. It's no wonder why there is tons of crime and other things going on all at one time.
I guess the best part of Google Earth is how it puts my life into perspective....the small town I live in, and how small my house, my life, and even the state I live in, is!
Sometimes when I'm feeling blue, I boot up Google Earth and put my life into perspective.

The Grand Canyon.
Oh, and a couple of weeks ago I looked down on the house I lived in in third grade, in Groton, Connecticut.

The coolest thing I've ever seen on google earth was my dog. I zoomed in really close on my house, and the sattelite image of the area was of my house/yard, and I could see my Boxer as a small blob in my front yard. Really creepy in a way too...

The coolest thing I've seen is my house, because I'm pulling out of the driveway at the moment they took the picture.
