i have searched this many time on google, and i got many results, but i want to ask this forum members, can a single programmer create his own operating system? i know his must do hardwork alot, but what you think.

thats almost impossible
creating an OS is a lot of work
take Vista for example-hundreds of ppl involved

a simple OS possible ... maybe couple of yrs of hardwork here and there.
