I need a scanner and i am planning to buy one, but need information, which brand is best? need reliable...

HP is a pretty big brand for printers/scanners but I don't really like them
Nikon I heard had alright ones but not sure

I used a Canon scanner, which I never had any problems. But unfortunately Canon provide less support in drivers. But if you use windows xp, there are plenty much drivers available on there website.
