None atm, heard that many custom built ones have a high rate of crashing.

no I don't think they have a high rate of crashing.. my friends had his for years.. he just kept upgrading the parts when he needed it. Has no problem at all and it is still running

Don't have the chance to build myself a computer yet lol Don't have the guts to do it hahaha XD However I did build computers for classes back in high school when I took a tech support class ^^

i custom build mine 3 yrs ago n it still runs sum latest games on low  n currently usins it. the only let down is my old p4 cpu its shit old man. lol, n 1GB of ram just isnt enought for me anymore, my grahics card is a radeon x1650 pro AGP. OS window xp pro.
i will be custom building another pc early next yr, will try get a amd quad core with ati x2900 with ddr2 dual channl 2GB ram n upgrae my 17" lcd mon to a 22" widescreen one with 450W psu think that should be able to power a x2900 gpu, n a 500 gb hard disk

My cousin had hers custom built and the wiring blew and there were sparks...

Hehe...Sparks? That just too dangerous. I build many computers before, problems i encountered before only like, the ram is loose, wrong cpu speed setting or hardware compatibility. Never try to make the 'sparks' anywhere....
