Windows Vista
I need some opinions from vista users, is it worth getting vista atm? It seems like vista is still fairly new and there are not many programs that are made to be compatible with vista yet...(or does xp stuff work?) also...there's like 4 different versions...which one is the best money wise...ultimate is so frigging expensive...

Depends what you are going to do on PC
Vista takes a considerable amount of RAM, and it has quite a few bugs.
The compatibility is always the issue
I would stick to XP atm if i were you.

I run a Vista Home edition and it works fine for me. Although relatively new and some people complain that it is buggy, but I havent really had much issues with it. I love the graphics and presentation. It definitely has a Mac feel to it.

If you want to play NEW games, then Vista, for anything else, use XP. Many features that existed in XP are disabled/crippled in Vista. Or you could install Vista and use the Virtual machine to run XP
