I'm Broken

Nobody seems to understand
Never have I been offered a hand
And I strike back with all my might
I never win the fight

Hopelessly lost it seems
I struggle to balance on these beams
Of survival and love and light
I surrender to the night

I'm bruised but im not broken
I'm torn but I'm not unfixable
I'm not too far gone there's got to be hope
I'm almost a demon but angelic comes next
I'm not broken

Help me revive my soul
Don't get scared away by the era
So tightly embracing me is all i wish
Please help me see in the dark

I can see, I'm not blind
But I cannot move myself
Broken promises tore my skin
And candles still pray for my light

Not tommarow not the next
Healing of the heart takes time
Longer than the wounds and vines
Hold me close in a sorrowful embrace

I can't breathe suffication has me
The air im being deprived of is replaced with tears
Guilt of others may save me
But it's far too late

I'm a creature and angelic is destroyed
