A late winter...







Cloudy distant sky reflects a gloomy sight

Hidden sunshine slowly fades warm daylight

Cold winds swiftly blow across pure frigid air

Scent of winter evenly spreads everywhere




From the gray sky crystal snowflakes constantly fall down

Entirely covering new green grass of the front yard lawn

Hedges and trees are elegantly wrapped with white coats

Roof tops glisten as the chimneys vent hot smoky clouds




Springtime's blue sky is covered by dark winter's shadow

Mountains are still sheathed with thick sheets of snow

Cold freezing winds hum scornful melodies of sorrow

Desperate yearnings to embrace warmness of tomorrow...
