how many dates does it take to start refering your date as Girlfriend/Boyfriend?
 surely you dont ask someone if they want to be your gf/bf?

well a reasonable amount, 10+ i rkn.
depends really on what the two do during their dates and if they like it or not.
my friend said he had a gf after only 1 date and like a million msn convos, and of course they broke up soon.

hrrmm..all of my past bf's have asked me if i wanted to be their gf's =) soo..i guess two ppl are gf/bf after that question. if the question isn't asked..then i would say after the first kiss?..or holding hands. depends on how open the two are.

Yup it depends on what you do on dates, if it's just hanging out then probably not. If you do like the other individual, it's not wrong to ask them if they want to be your girlfriend or boyfriend.

There's no certain set amount of dates that u have to go on before u are declared BF/GF... If you both feel u're ready to move to the next stage, do it.

Yeah, I totally agree with Matt. If ya ready, then move on.
I don't think I've ever went on dates before declaring BF/GF.. it was more of the other way around

I think it is stupid to ask someone to be your girl or boyfriend. When you have some date there will be a time, you won't ask it but you feel that's your partner. It is not necessary to ask it. The feeling must be there
