Love at first sight?

How many of you truely believe in love at first sight being true? Have you ever experienced anything like that before?

Love at first sight rarely happens, more like infatuation - I would like to call it that, yea infatuation. I wouldn't confidently say love at first sight doesn't happen because we don't really know for sure what strikes us at first...

I know some of you would disagree with me, but that's just my opinion, nothing is perfect in this world - that's why we are awake in this reality and should love it more - the flaws of life

I don't believe you can love someone at first sight, maybe like at first and then love later on develops, that's what I believe. I mean I didn't love my boyfriend at first sight, I really liked him and then it turned into love later on ^^

I am not really that believer of that saying considering that emotions are fluid. Besides we could not say that we could love that person in the first time we met her/him only.Besides I have not feel it before. I usually fall in love after I know the person well.

Like shye said, it's mostly infatuation. To love someone, you have to know them personally and have relations.

Yes, I really do believe in love at first sight, the beautiful attraction, feelings can be build into a relationship as time comes along.

I am currently confused about what is love. I am confused about my feelings. So at this point, i can not tell if i love someone just based on the first sight.
So i do not think it is possible for me to have love at first sight now.
I rather talk to that person first and know that person first.
Plus love at first sight is pretty dangerous and you might regret it later. Even if you try to know that person first, you feeling will cause you misjudge or confused if you really like that person or a momentary feeling.
But there is love at first sight but it not as strong as if you know that person very well first.

Love is a very deep feeling and you can't just fall in love with someone when you first look at them. That's not possible. There needs to be an emotional side to love where you care for the person deeply etc etc. Love at first sight is just LUST at first sight. But it can DEVELOP into love.

I definitely don't believe in love at first sight. Lust at first sight yes, but love? No way. Why? Because to truly love someone you have to understand them and if you just met them, how can you understand the person?

I agree with you. LOVE ( or LUST ) at first sight for that person, and LOVE ( or LUST ) at first sight for the next one you see which might have something different than the first one you saw. and the next .... and the next....My opion only!!

I still have my doubt about love at first sight. I think that when you see a person the first time, you can't really talk about love. It's normal that when you see someone you can be interested, but I guess that everyone has that. It's human nature I think. It's difficult to say that it's love or interested immediately. I think that everyone has to judge that for him/herself.
