Messenging client with MSN and AIM and lots of features that I list?

I'm really picky. I have DeadAIM for AIM and MSN Plus! for Windows Live. But my AIM is messing up (it says the people who are off are on for one minute and it never changes) and I'm sick of it, plus something combined would be nice. So I want something.

But nothing I find ever has enough. I've come used to this from MSN and AIM:

Tabbed chatting (needed)
Logging (needed)
1150+ characters (needed badly)
Sending files
Changing my name (some won't let me, I've noticed)
Seeing my icon, at 100 pixels (some squish it and I like my icons. They're pretty Mylar ones. Or gay Dalek)
Sending images through file, or through direct connection (needed)
Aliases (desperately needed. I run a comm and need to name some people by their comm names for easy IMing)
I'm forgetting stuff.

Whoever tells me one that has everything and has a nice interface (I need a nice interface. ;___; Sorry.) I will choose best answer. I always choose it - I don't let the voters do it. And I have a Windows, not a Mac.
