MSN Explorer search history?

Well, I use MSN Explorer to access my internet and it it giving me a bit of trouble. When I delete the history, it deletes the browser history, but it doesn't delete what I had typed in on a search engine. For instance, I go to Yahoo! and want to search for "apples" or something, and yesterday I had searched for "appendix". As soon as I type the "a", "appendix" shows up in the little drop down menu even though I had deleted the history after I was done the day before. PLEASE HELP!!!
