Of course it's a fraud. It's been in the news, it's been on Dateline, it's been a topic on Answers for the 1-1/2 years I've been a member. Why on earth are you talking to someone on the phone about this crap? Yahoo, Microsoft, AOL, etc., etc,. DO NOT have lotteries. You have opened a pandora's box of trouble if you have opened the mail and talked to them on the phone. What personal information did you give them? Your bank account? Your social security number? Your address and phone number, obviously. This is what is called spam mail, and this question is asked a dozen times a day here, but you are the first one I've seen foolish enough to actually talk to someone. Expect to be ripped off.
