how do i get music from the itunes screen to play?

i have downloaded some music from limewire , i can see them in itunes but not on ipod, i have pressed import but nothing. i imported a cd and that worked fine so what am i doing wrong

if the songs from limewire are encrypted with something not supported by the ipod, it may play on itunes but not on your ipod...when you import a cd, itunes makes sure to import it in a format that is compatible.
