How do I transfer the music I bought on iTunes to Windows Media??

I got a giftcard for iTunes and I have an Insignia mp3 player. I am trying to get the music I have bought over to Windows so i can sync it to my mp3 but I can't figure out how to do it!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
