Chinese vice president meets Bangladeshi army chief
Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping met in Beijing on Monday with Bangladesh Chief of Army Staff General Moeen Ahmed. He was here for the Beijing Olympic Games opening ceremony and relevant events.
Xi told the military chief, also the head of the Bangladesh Olympic Committee, that as close neighbors the two nations had experienced deepening political trust, a steady growth of economic relations and trade, and close cooperation on international occasions.
