Leo Ku's 2007 Concert Kicks Starts at HK Coliseum

Leo Ku's 'The Magic Moments Concert 2007', which is to be held at HK Coliseum for a consecutive six nights, started its first show last night. Celebrities who attended were Katie Leung from Harry Potter movies, Berlin Chen, Gigi Fu, Miki Yeung, Theresa Fu and Mark's wife Jade. There were also flower baskets from Wu Fung and Aaron Kwok to show their support.

With a fantasy theme, the concert had a storyline that depicts Leo fell into a black hole and was caught in a fantasy world, followed by a series of mysterious encounters. At the start of the concert, one of the dancers dressed up as Leo and strolled on the stage, then disappeared in the middle of the stage right after effects of lightning and thunder were created. Another dancer who disguised as Leo swayed on stage, to create a scene of him falling into the black hole.

At this instant, the real Leo descended from 30 feet above, with a massive cloth-wrapped bat made of metal frames. Two men controlled its wings while Leo, with safety straps, held on to a frame at the bottom and sang Oi Yu Sing in the air. As he reached the ground, a few dancers tore apart his cloak, then Leo belted Seung Jui Yan in a shiny captain-like costume. A few unicorns galloped here and there, showing Leo has already entered fantasy land.

Leo asked on stage," Where is this place? Is there anybody around?" After the audience shouted 'yes', he continued," There's a legendary sound that is very magical, can you guess it? It's the sound of applause." A thundering round of applause later, Leo said," The most corny thing to say is the louder you clap, the more possible it is to draw me to your area. There is also another sound that comes in a pair - your bon bon sticks. If you let them kiss, the magic will increase. Please give me power." While the audience hit their bon bon sticks enthusiastically, Leo said," I'm full of power now!"

Leo cried while singing 'Love Going Home', and explained that it was because he has not gone home to see his parents for a long time due to his work schedule.

Vivian Chow turned up as guest last night, dressing up in a Versace-sponsored blue evening gown. Justin and Alex will be performing with Leo for a while every night, and there is a dancing session with Berlin Chen's model girlfriend Mandy. Ekin will the guest of tonight's concert. Katie Leung was also present at last night's concert.
