Maggie Cheung Loses Weight

Maggie Cheung Ho Yee appeared at a promotional event for a supermarket chain store. She demonstrated her culinary skills by preparing a beef dish. Maggie admitted that she improved her cooking skills when she suffered from thyroid illness over the last two years.

Maggie's culinary strength was in preparing western-style dishes. Did Maggie cook for her boyfriend? "I do not have a boyfriend now. But my ex-boyfriend's cooking skills were superior to mine."

Maggie revealed that she will be attending a charity event in October. TVB granted Maggie the rights to have one of her character roles, "Lui Sei Niang" (from "King of Yesterday and Tomorrow") produced into a stuffed doll. Since the proceeds from the sales will be for charity contributions, TVB agreed to Maggie's suggestion. Afterwards, Maggie hopes to design her own t-shirt and a doll that resembles herself.

It was obvious that Maggie lost some weight recently. "I want to be more fit. Since I can wear my old pants size, I am very happy!"
