I Need help with my nes (nintendo entertainment system)?

whether theres a game in my system or not , when i turn my game on on it will turn on the red light and then after say like 2 seconds the game sort of resets and the light goes off then a couple seconds later it comes back on and keeps repeating plz tell me wat to do
P.S. (don't tell me to clean the game cartridge because like ive already said whether theres a game in or not)
