Nintendo DS Wi-Fi Problem?

I am having a problem keeping a strong connection to the Wi-Fi. When I connect to the Wi-Fi, I usually will have three green bars, and it will be a great connection. Then, after a few seconds of being connected, I will lose it completely. The router I am using is a NETGEAR WGT624 v3. I am using the game Animal Crossing: Wild World if that helps at all. I appreciate any support!

i would just buy the nintendo usb wifi adapter $40.00 gamestop or best buy might be cheaper on ebay
