Wired Nintendo Wii connection?

I want to know if I have a wired connection for my wii do I need to plug the wire into my laptop if not where else can I plug it in?

I assume you're trying to use WiiConnect24 with your Wii. There is a method in which you can hook your Wii up to your laptop, however, it requires a LAN adapter. You plug it into your Wii, then plug the ethernet cable into your router. I assume you must have high speed internet, because dialup just will not work. I don't think plugging it into your laptop will do you any good. If you have a wireless router, you don't have to hook it up to anything and you don't need the LAN adapter. But, like I said, you have to have wireless internet for that to work. Good luck!
