For The People Who live in Vancouver Canada, How Much is a Nintendo Wii?

In EB Games, How much would it cost? and can a gamecube controller work on the Wii? just asking cuz i'm planning to get one

i'm not sure about EB games, but at costco or future shop it would be around $300. at costco it might cost a bit more, but it usually packages video game consoles with one or two games. additional wii controllers would be $50, and i'm pretty sure you can't use gamecube controllers cuz wii is a totally different thing.

I heard vancouver has lots of wii's on the shelf, is that true?

not realli....i heard rumors that all the stores actually have wii in stock, just not on the shelves. they want to make it so only a limited number of people have them, so everyone's intrest is still up....if everyone has them the first week they're out, then pretty soon the whole thought of "wii" will die down. but of course, those are just rumors....=T

but as an answer to your question, no, they're not on the shelf, but whether they're in stock or not is a different question.

289.99 and almost all to none of them are packaged unless you count the Wii Sports.

The GC controller will work on the Wii BUT it will not work with Wii games, only GC ones.
