Default Nintendo DS wi-fi v.s multiplayer connection?
I don't get it - what is the difference? when you play games, theres usually 2 options along with the single player mode...wi-fi and multiplayer. wi-fi can connect with other ds holders, same with multiplayer...so is there a difference?

There is a different indeed.

Wi-Fi allows you to connect with the nintendo wi-fi server so that you can play people around the world, multiplayer only works if you have a friend and they are within ~10m from your ds, than you can play each other.
