Rainbow Six Vegas on PS3?

Am thinking about buying the rainbow 6 vegas on ps3 and was wondering if its any good. I downloaded the demo but i have to admit did not really fancy it. The graphics don't seem quite great compared to other games like Resistance fall of man. Anyone out there played it? and how was it?

I played it on 360 and its pretty nice. Looks a lot better in HD though. I have it running at 720p. By the way, PS3 is for chums.

Yeah PS3 is for chums.....PS3 is a good system, and it will become better as games come out. Also note Blu Ray IS winning the new standard war. People go with HDDVD but in reality its blu ray. It is a superior format overall. So dont let people down your ps3 dude.

Hey seriously I have the 360/PS3/Wii. Ill tell ya now the game rocks, and I've tried it on the two best systems. They are in the end about the same but if your use to the PS2 controls it will rock on a PS3. Has nothing to do with graphics the game in general is awesome. I played it for months ina nd out.

Is it worth buying? YES. Also on the 360 you have to pay to play online. With the PS3 it's free

Its also more of a SLOW and GO type game. Takes hours in some cases just to move to some new areas, and you WILL die a few times. As I said I give the game a 9/10 and Im someone who never buys games I only buy the ones worth buying.

Again multiplayer is a lot of fun

ALSO note bragging about your 720P on a 360 oooo wow the ps3 has the same options on HD TVs and seriously I find the games look better on the PS3 with 1080p (Samsung 46 1080p LCD). Though it doesnt matter because the two system are amazing either way.

Alright people say dont buy the game but it depends on what you like.

Its not a fast paced shoot and kill games. Most of the time you run, take cover and peak around corners to shoot. In larger areas you can use sniper rifles. It has great moments where you jump from skylights shooting so there are fast past moments, but again usually you spent your time covering and shooting. Its realistic

People who dont like this game dont like tactics in fighting. They are people who like being able to run, bunny hop etc. No realism I mean Call of Duty 3 Gets hours out of me per week BUT its not really all that great considering people jump none stop which is retarded because if you were in a war your not gonna jump around like a total queer shooting at people.

Realism you will love this game.

i hate that freaking game...i bought it for my 360 and it sucked real bad...just like almost all tom clancy games. its pretty horrible compared to other games like call of duty 2 or gears of war.
i sold it on ebay after 2 days and lost about 25 dollars on it.....from now on i am gonna be smart and download demos before i buy games.
wait to buy medal of honor:airborne...coming out in less than a month on 360 (not sure on ps3) or call of duty 4 in november, army of two etc....do not buy that game...trust me...if you don't have call of duty 2...then thats a game you should own.

I would say dont buy rainbow six on ps3, trust me buy an xbox 360. The games are a lot more better than others and playing rainbow six on the console will make it a hundred times better. If you want to get the game cheap the go to game and buy it preowned, or get it at asda becase the sell it there to for cheap. Good luck
