If I remember correctly, yes you will need a memory stick to save your games.

I suggest you get at least 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo to save the content of the game.

I have a PSP you need a memory stick to save games. Also, if you flash your firmware on the psp you can play downloaded PSP games off the memory stick like I do. I never bought a single psp game LOL

If you hack the psp, u can do cool things like play PSX games

welcome to became part of PSP family member, my suggestion is to get a 4GB memory stick becoz there is too much of nice PSP games out there, one of the MUST play games is Monster hunter Freedom
