What is the average price of a Playstation 2?

Well, odd, I know, but here's the thing. I've stuck to nintendo a long time, getting the 64 and gaemcube, right? Though, neither has a large number of games on it. And most tend to be a bit kiddie. Now, on the other hand, the playstation has a few games that I want, that I can't get, either for my PC or otherwise. So out of a bit of frustration, I've taken on the idea of buying a used, good condition ps2 while it is cheap. I've heard it to be around 150$(U.S.), is that true?

Well a brand new Slimline PS2 is $130.00,A used Slim PS2 is from $60-$110 while the Original PS2 if you can find one new will be around $280.00 but used it goes from $40-$90.You can get em for a good cheap price on either Craigslist.com or Ebay.com

some places like e.b. games are unloading refurbished ones with a waranty for about $130.00 US
