I have always been impressed with books, articles and songs praising the unconditional love of parents to their children.
When our parents getting of age and failing to care for themselves, what do you think is the alternative methods of caring for these dedicated elderly?
Given todays' society is generally wealthier and hence with more obligations and responsibilities.
Children will have family of their own or at the peak of their career development stage, should they spare time to care for their own loving parents?
or
Do you feel that our parents should have better retirement plan and save enough to care for themselves?
or
Do you think its the responsibilities of the Government or Community Care service to honor their contribution to the society?
Often we see younger kids this generation demands their needs from parents, complain about the parents not providing enough care and love, or taking everything for granted, have we thought about ever repaying some of these 'love debt'.
A bit heavy topic, but fruitful thoughts!
