I would personally go for a desktop pc, as you can upgrade to any higher specs. On the other hand using a laptop, too much troublesome and you need a special tool to open it. I threw mine on the ground to take out all the components. Anyway desktop is highly recommended if you want to upgrade it in the future.

gotta be desktop
upgrade is easier and cheaper.
don't think there really is a market for upgrading laptops rather who can do fatter specs for cheaper
the only reason I would buy a laptop would be if I travelled a lot and needed some form of entertainment.

id prefer a desktop as they generally are: cheaper, more efficient, cooler (as in temp not style ) and are easy to upgrade

Laptop if you prefer portable and smaller computers which you could take anywhere you want, desktop if you want performance and durability.

Definitely Desktop because it is more durable and cheaper for a better computer and can easily upgrade.
