Hi, I've been looking around and noticed there isn't a beauty thread anymore. Maybe it wasn't popular enough before I don't know. It'd be fun if any beauty product lovers or users rather, mention about what they have bought recently or last bought. What it is and why you like it.
I'm 21, a student who doesn't go out drinking, smoke or go out much really, so I end up keeping myself happy with shopping and seeing what is good out there being recommeneded by others.
Can be pretty much anything you like, for:
Hair, skincare, make-up, bathroom products such as shower gel even
Hope you have fun discussing.

I started using foundation last month but didn't like my new YSL perfect touch as the shade chosen by a YSL girl actually is too light for my face (look a bit like a masked ghost). I feel bad to have splashed out on £28!!!! (It was suppose to be a Birthday treat for myself).
Last week I tried Bourjois's new foundation called 10 hours sleep effect costing £9 plus 200 points back on Boots card. The shade goes really well for me and I'm loving the lightness. I also bought a foundation to apply it by Ruby&Millie, so soft.
Lately I've gone off lipgloss so gone back to using lip balms. My old miracle Carmex and I recently went to The Body Shop and bought a mango lip butter £5. It smells like real mango smoothies I've drank, yummy but after an hour it's gone and I need to reapply if I'm not busy.

hmm. makeup-wise..i use several different brands ranging from Clinique to Christian Dior. I don't use foundation..makes me feel like i have cake on my face. Usual makeup = eyeliner, undereyes concealer, lipgloss.
skin care wise..i use products from Shiseido only..they're perfect match for my combination skin type.

I currently use L'oreal, it's okay...makes my skin soft but I think it's not the best product out there. I can't exactly get anything good over where I live, not even asian brands like Shiseido, so yeah, it's hard to find anything right >_<
For make up, I'm using Masterpiece Mascara by Max Factor and Eyeliner by Rimmel.

well, for makeup and skin care, r u sensitive? if not then u can pretty much use any brand like Loreal, Maybelline, Cover girl. Or go with natural products, that what I use, Kiss my face, Origins or Clarins. Clinique is also a good brand for makeup and lotions, not so expensive as lancome.

Currently using Shu Uemura foundation and blusher and its not bad ! I like it.
Stop using lip gloss and start using lip balm to ensure my lips are not dry.
Probably going to purchase Shiseido face wash series since I heard rave reviews about it from my friends =D
