facebook pictures question?

ook. so for the past like 2 days i've been trying to figure facebook out. (myspace is wayyyy easier)
so im trying to upload pictures and a lot of my friends have like tonnsss of pictures.
and when i upload them and i go to my page it says i only have 1 picture. and it's an old picture of me and idk how i got it on

i made an album and stuff but that won't show up either...

so what did i do wrong?

i guess im just retarded or something:-\
