Computer Configuration for XP and Vista

wel i am using xp on my pentium 3 with 256 mb of ram, now planning to buy vista but i heard that it need more ram about 512mb or more, and more speed about 2.4ghz or more. Should i upgrade my PC?

vista doesn't offer much more than xp other than the looks, so unless u think the looks r worth the extra money, don't bother, it's more likely that vista will cause u more harm than good too

I wouldn't go for it atm.

It's more a graphical improvement, and there are so many bugs still. It also uses heaps of resources, so 256MB won't really do.

My advice is wait till SP1 comes out and then decide
