Php || Asp

Wel i know about both languages, both are server side scripting languages, but php is opensource(free) whereas ASP is created by Microsoft, i think php is more easiest than ASP, but ASP is more secured than PHP, because ASP or ASP.net is also used by big companies, E-gold LTD is also using ASP...What you think about both languages?
