Norton Antivirus
i'm just wondering...is it actually worth it to go buy this software? because i've heard some people say its just stupid to waste your money on it, my dad thinks that my computer will get attacked and norton will be there to "save the day", and i just don't want to spend any unneccessary money. so...what do you guys think?
i honestly don't know much about this software either, other than its supposed to kill viruses and stuff in your computer?

I'd say Norton's over-rated. Norton also uses a lot of your computer resources. You're better off downloading free anti-virus programs that also offers free definition updates.
I'm using Avira AntiVir at the moment.

yes, thats one thing i've noticed, norton slows down my computer speed greatly. but how can you be sure that online anti-virus softwares won't have viruses in them?

I think it's the best to avoid Norton, because I using using to much of your memory. I using symatec now, which is the same as Norton, but using less memory.
