I'm building a new computer but I don't know which video card to get. I'm not a gamer but I'm going to do some video editing on my new computer. Also, I'm an amateur photographer so I use Photoshop a lot.
Any suggestions???

I don't think you need a very good graphics card to do those kinds of things.. I think even my graphics card can do all that stuff and it sucks @ss..

To run Photoshop well, you do need a decent video card. But more importantly, you need a lot of RAM and a good processor (dual cores recommended).
Certainly the minimum requirements are low for photoshop, but if you want to edit large and/or multiple photos (especially for a photographer, amateur or otherwise), it will consume an enormous amount of system resources.

I have ATI right now so I want to try NVidia. My price range is around $200 but preferably less.
I bought 2x2GB PC6400 DDR2 RAM.

NVidia GeForce series would run alright i rkn, and a GB of RAM would be suitable since Photoshop uses quite an amount of resources
