Worst travel experiences?
So, this is a thread u can vent out ur complaints on any part of your travel... or at least tell us about it.. XP...
It can be any parts of your travel, whether it be the transportation, accomodation, activities, anything, please do tell.
December 2005 - Going back from HK - Calgary
First Leg - HK to Vancouver:
With 2 flights by Air Canada leaving HK to Canada daily, leaves almost exact same time, one to Vancouver the other to Toronto... On a short notice, one of the pilots of the HK to Toronto flight came down with an illness and will not be able to fly and they could not find a pilot in time, so with that, they fit however many people they can from that flight on to the flight I was on (HK to Vancouver). Not only that, but as previously planned, Thai International Airline, a partner of Air Canada is also putting their people on this plane, which means it is 3 flights into one. As if the cramping wasn't bad enough, the flight was delayed by an hour which caused many many people to miss connecting flights in Vancouver.
Second Leg - Vancouver to Calgary:
With the surge of people from HK missing the previous flight out of Vancouver to Calgary, they have to quickly put everyone on another flight, which again, was the flight I was on. So with the amount of new passengers, they brought in a 767 to fit all those people in as an Airbus A319 would not be enough. Then we all boarded the plane and for several reasons, we had to way several hours before we are able to get a push back, de-ice and take off, which means we sat in the plane for three whole hours.
Thats my ranting for now...

Ya.. thats always one... Travelling with the wrong person is always bad.. u maybe close... but ur habits will definitely frustrate the other... its surprising what a difference it makes travelling with the right people.

Haven't had really bad experiences, but remember some bad memories
When I was on a Cruise for 1 week with my auntie and cousins, I puked a lot [wun shuan long] and that was like, the worst feeling i've ever felt o_O I couldn't even eat much either because of that, haha, I was like 8 at the time.
Another experience was when we were flying from Hong Kong to Thailand. The plane wouldn't budge though because there was a storm, and so the plane wasn't going to take off any time soon. It lead hundreds of people to sleep, or do whatever on the plane for hours. By the time it was 12am or so, they let us go home because it was so late. We had to go another time, on our trip to Thailand.

it was when i went to Taipei, i got robbed and was there all alone so didn't really know what to do. Also i didn't have money to buy food or anything. I lost my passport, the police there don't speak english. I can't call home. It was just the worst of the worst. But i met his guy in the hotel that lend me money and help to speak with the police there. I got home empty handed.
